Keep Our Kids Safe, Part 2: Guardian Ad Litem
Learn about the court process that takes place for children who find themselves dependent on the child welfare system. Also learn about the many individuals in a child’s life that are part of “the system”. This includes the child’s Guardian ad Litem, a volunteer who is trained to be a court advocate for a child who has been a victim of abuse, abandonment or neglect. Instructions on how to become a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer will follow the presentation.
