The 8th Annual Taste of South Tampa


 The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce's signature annual event is the Taste of South Tampa. Hyde Park Village is transformed into an outdoor festival offering live entertainment, beer, soda and wine along with an array of delicious food samples from various local restaurants.

Local restaurants love participating in the Taste of South Tampa as it gives them exposure to thousands of bay area residents, creating a new clientele for their businesses. The attendees vote on their favorite restaurant and the top three choices are awarded "Best of the Taste of South Tampa" prizes, plaques and bragging rights.

Guests can choose from regular admission or upgrade to a VIP experience, which in addition to the outside offerings, offers a selection of sparkling wines, gourmet appetizers and fine chocolates. VIPs are also treated to chair massages and a special gift bag from our sponsors.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Humane Society Tampa Bay and the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce Michael J. Cruz Fund which distributes monetary donations back to the community.
