Invitation: Town Hall with Congresswoman Castor RE: Restaurant Revitalization Fund
Last week, Tampa restaurants were able to apply for direct relief through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund through the U.S. Small Business Administration portal: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/covid-19-relief-options/restaurant-revitalization-fund
To ensure that local restaurants know about these relief funds and hear feedback from those who have already applied, U.S. Rep. Castor is holding a virtual forum on Monday, May 10 at 10 a.m.
Please register here for this free event. Speakers include:
-
U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, Florida’s 14th Congressional District
-
Eileen Rodriguez, Small Business Development Center at the University of South Florida
-
MaryAnn Ferenc, Owner, Mise en Place, and a state and national leader of tourism and travel
-
Veronica Danko, Owner, Independent Bar & Cafe
The $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund was created by the American Rescue Plan that U.S. Rep. Castor helped to pass earlier this year. The Restaurant Revitalization Fund will provide restaurants and other eligible businesses with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business.
